But if you wanna push it a bit further, put in a little extra time, you can upgrade it to a 40% scythe. Well, there's a bunch of nice armors and a neat 30% Damage to All scythe, seems decent for how much effort you need to put in to get it, even if BBoA has the same boost and is easier to get. All you really need is ArchPally or Lord of Order, two already great classes that don't take an eternity of repetitive farming to farm get. They need you to switch up your classes and strategize how you fight them, and best of all, it's specifically designed to be done solo. It's a breeze to tear through at first, but the later bosses are challenging. Again, a tedious (albeit short) grind for a reward that's just not worth it for most players.īut that's where Infernal Arena comes in. Hell, when Chaos Avenger released, a common complaint was that it pretty much required Void Highlord to obtain, and VHL was just better in every way anyways.

Although many cheese strats have been found for the older Ultras, the more recent ones pretty much require playing with a team that knows what they're doing, and in some cases, are outright impossible for casual players to complete due to how laggy the game can be, even with settings set to minimum. The introduction of Ultras also introduced the alternate path of using weekly Insignias to farm certain things, such as Void Highlord or Legion Revenant, rather than the long and tedious routes we all hate, but this is just a non-solution to a major problem.

So much so that a decently large chunk of the playerbase aren't even players, they're bots. It's always long, tedious, and more often than not, has requirements that take just as long to get before you even start it, and the reward often doesn't feel worth the effort. So, let's be honest, farming in AQW has a massive problem.
